This has never happened to me before, so wondering if anyone else here has had an experience along similar lines to help me out.

I was supposed to fly HOU-DFW-BHM Friday evening. Due to DFW weather nightmare, the HOU flight was cancelled, but I was rebooked onto an IAH-DFW flight. I drove from HOU to IAH and parked my car there to be able to catch the flight (which I did). Now, problem is my car is still at IAH but my return leg takes me back to HOU. There is no evening flight tonight back to IAH from DFW that I could make from my BHM flight. Will AA reimburse the cost of cab/shuttle fare? I have a feeling that since the mantra is "it's not us, it's the weather," I'm probably SOL. Just curious.
