I'm with you! I've had lots of good ice cream around the world, but I always come home wanting Carvel. And, yes, it's still "Wednesday is Sundae." The sundaes are bogo and the fudge is the best! I treat myself once a month.

Carvel
Perhaps it is because of the memories of eating the soft ice cream from this ice cream chain when I was a boy growing up in Brooklyn, but Carvel ice cream is in its own class. The Flying Saucers, shakes and ice cream cakes are just a few of the frozen ice cream treats which Carvel offers that are also worthy of a try. It may not be the richest or creamiest ice cream. It may not even be the best ice cream. However, the ice cream is made fresh at every Carvel location. I am sure happy to learn of its ongoing nationwide expansion of franchises, because I surely enjoy Carvel ice cream.
I typically enjoy soft Chocolate ice cream with chocolate sprinkles in a sugar cone.
Bonus: For as long as I can remember, Wednesday is Sunday at every participating Carvel ice cream store. This means that when you buy one sundae, you receive one sundae free![/QUOTE]
