Update: based on your feedback here and around this forum, I'm delighted to have booked the Hawaii Prince.

The hotel's website and TripAdvisor reviews were useful sources of info too.

Although the noise from the Hilton Timeshare could be an issue, the location is good for us otherwise, as we would like to drive all around Oahu, and see more than just the beach.

Now I will need your thoughts on car hire. Will check if the Hertz counter is here at this hotel, or nearby.
