Skymiler, it's not quite that simple. First off, I'm all for posting things in the correct places. However, let's take one example.

I'm travelling to DCA and back this week. I'm interested if there are any security measures (bag matching, etc) of inbound or outbound flights that would necessitate my being there earlier and/or scheduling a much looser connection on my inbound. Where do I find information on this topic?

Well, there's a thread over in TravelBuzz called "Anyone been though DCA?" Hmmm. Sounds perfect. That might help me. Problem is, the thread was started on 10/6 and there have been zero replies.

Okay, well maybe I should start my own thread over in FT Airports in the Washington, DC forum. I mean, that's specifically what it's designed for, right? Oh, what's that? Nobody's made a post in the entire forum since 8:26 a.m. on 10/7.

On the other hand, when I asked a similar question within a thread here in MilesBuzz, I received the answers I needed within a couple of hours.

I don't want to get into a pi**ing match about whether this is right or wrong, good or bad, but the fact of the matter is that this is the forum everyone reads, and it's where you can actually get answers to your questions.

Sorry, but my adherence to the "new" format ends when there's no demonstrable utility in it.
