This old thread, found on search, never answered the question about the power on JL J-class flites. I'm searching for information on the same question.

My flites are JL 9 ORD-NRT and JL2 NRT-SFO, in May 2007. I don't usually take my laptop on leisure trips, but need to "stay in touch" on my upcoming vacation. It would be nice to be able to use my iBook during the long flites.

Will electric outlets in Japanese apartment and hotels accommodate my 3-prong plug? Do I need to have a 3- to 2-prong adaptor?

Thanks in advance for your expertise.
