With the super low fares NW has been posting all year (normally so low they go unmatched by all the other major airlines) I myself wonder about the ability of NW to successfully make it out of BK. For the long term I'd be hesitant about switching to NW, who knows what happens to elite status if they go under... could be worthless or even worse it could merge with US...
