With Don Imus gone, it is a very slow news day

Big Yawn. This is like complaining about the weather, or sun spots or the ocean tides. If you look, you will see some security people lingering around the baggage claim and desk. They are not there to safeguard your luggage, but rather the AA staff. I have seen a fist fight break out. They need some extra help to quell riot and rebellion, always boiling near the surface.

According to the Miami Herald last week, rat sightings are becoming prevalent nowadays at MIA. So play, "Spot the Rat," as you stroll through the basement level waiting your obligatory 60-90 minutes.

They also revealed that although many people get lost approaching and inside the airport, $24 million in new signage is not programmed until 2011. So something is taking longer than your baggage to arrive.
