That being said, Firehouse Subs is my new favorite place. They emphasize the quality of their meat and they pile it on an inch thick. Their subs are steamed, so they're still hot while the bread is still soft. However unless you live in Florida or Georgia you'll have a hard time finding one.

A close second would be Jason's Deli. It is a favorite lunch spot of many people I know. Plus they have the awesome salad bar. ^

If I can't get to any of those, it's Quizno's or even Publix.
A Subway opened on campus when I was in college. After eating there ~twice a week, I'm pretty burned out on Subway and don't go often. However, the chicken breast or the meatball subs are passable.

I'm a big fan of Jason's Deli and they deliver!! ^ We ordered in for lunch a few times at the office when the weather was crappy.

And a Firehouse Subs just opened here in NC, right across the street from Jason's Deli. I'll have to give them a try soon.
