Here's my best recollection of the actual MI standard, as it was updated almost a year ago --
3 types of rooms get Nightly Refresh service:
1. Concierge/Executive/Suites
2. Any room assigned to a Plat
3. Any room where the guest has specifically requested it
Apparently these standards are widely ignored.
The turndown....er, refresh...isn't important to me at all, so I don't care and I'm not complaining. But I confess in all my years as a MR member, I've yet to figure out any pattern or constant. And yes, I've had the experience more than once of being a plat guest on the concierge floor....multiple nights....and not gotten a turndown.
