I ended up booking at the Doubletree. My friend's staying at that Marriott, but I saw there is a metro station very close to both hotels (DT's right next to it, Marriott has direct access). Got a large executive king room with free internet and hot breakfast for $164 CAD.

The hotel said that I did get a full hot breakfast buffet with the executive room, but I found conflicting info on the website. Is this correct? If not, I can always go up another $10 for full breakfast.

Car isn't an issue for me as my friend will have a car, but the big thing was easy metro access so I don't have to rely on them taking me back or paying for a cab.
