INPASS into USA and skip migration q

I don't know if this old news but..

I registered for Inpass on the US side of customs at LAX.
It is a system that allows frequent travellers into the USA access via a five point fingerprint check on a machine at immigration.The machine checks all 5 digits on the right hand
If the machine isn't working you go to the front of the Q. (Dunno about the stares from the ones in line...)
It took me about 15 minutes to register. I guess now I am on Interpol , IRS etc etc.

The machines are at LAX, JFK and others.

Have others used the system?
