Had the pleasure (or not) of flying GLA-CFU-GLA on XL twice last year with extra legroom seats - about 33" over the wings - and it was a 737-800 with blue leather seats in 3-3 format with minimal recline. The extra legroom seats were rows 15 and 16 from memory. 1ABC and 2DEF had extra legroom against the bulkhead. I can't imagine they'd spend a vast amount of money in reconfiguring the planes - XL's website used to show their seat maps but no longer ...
