My parents and sister will be doing the SYD transfer in a few months, coming off the QF12 from LAX and connecting to the QF924 to CNS. Connection time is from 6:05 AM to 9:25 AM, so they should have plenty of time (will be in Business Class on both segments).

Where do they go through security (T1 or T3)?

Are there any priority lanes (immigration, security, quarantine, bag re-check, bus) for premium passengers (I seem to recall there was when I last arrived internationally in SYD, but that was in 2002)?

I've never made a connection in SYD, so I don't know.
