I usually stay at the Chicago Marriott 5-10 times a year. I really like the hotel because of the Concierge Lounge and free Internet for Gold and Plats. On the other hand, the Renn (which I've stayed at 2-3 times) is more upscale and less-convention like). The lounge is not as good and there is no free internet.

I stayed at the Chicago Marriott and the elevator situation was a disaster. I don't remember this being a big problem in the past but I must have spent 30-45 minutes waiting for the elevator to go to the C-lounge for breakfast, waiting for the elevator to come back, and then waiting to go down to head out after breakfast. I was almost late for a meeting because of the elevator wait time. It was my sense that not all the elevators were running.
