I spoke with a NW FA a few months ago AMS-MEM during descent and landing since I was sitting at the exit. She was an ex-Southern Airways FA and told me that the merger with North Central had been very smooth for the employees, but that when Hughes Air West was added to the mix, it all went south. There were lots of seniority issues and she said. "I don't think those Hughes girls have ever forgiven us." Remember, this was describing a merger 25+ years ago, and NW is still dealing with the hostility?
