Does this mean we would be the 1K Visa Platinum Verified Elites (1KVPVE)?

Are they talking about dropping segment 1K's? I had a discussion a few months back with a Marketing Director from United and they were discussing various ideas on how to continue to reward their most frequent flyers having already implemented the GSM for top spenders even though he indicated GSM is not perfect as some top 1K's are not GSM but still spend more than some GSM's.

Nothings perfect and if one thing is constant its change!
