Interesting. We rent from CLT a few times a year, usually Avis or Hertz, sometimes National. The Avis cars are by far the worst of the lot. Our last rental there (February) we found french fries spilled all over the floor and some sticky stuff (gum, soda, who knows) on the console between the front seats. Went right back to counter and received a different car.

At BDL this past weekend, the Avis car had assorted papers and trash in the front door side pockets. Worse yet, later in the day when we were at our destination, someone pointed out the vehicle was missing its rear license plate. We only had the car for the weekend and luckily were able to return the car without getting stopped by the police. Unreal.
