Visited Cardiff Pride a couple of years ago - a great event, friendly, fun, and a manageable size. The Gay Rugby Sevens tourney was great! Anyway there are a few bars and clubs in Cardiff so while I wouldn't expect Palm Springs or PTown levels of fun I'm sure you'll be able to kill some time.
