Automatic Checkin at CLK Wrong Seat Number Allocated
Before I write my letter to CX I thought it would be a good idea to see if this has happened to anyone else. Did search the forums and could not see anything.
Wednesday 4th April I used the automatic check in for the CX flight to Penang and decided to get an aisle seat closer to the front than the one allocated which was 56G if I recall.
45D was available so selected it and double checked the seat number as 45D.
Boarding Pass was issued. Here I was not clever and did not look at the BP until I got on the plane.
Imagine my surprise when it said 68H! So went to the ground staff explained the situation and was told 'Sorry that is what you requested'.
Was not happy and politely requested a change which I received.
Has anyone else experienced this at all?
Incidentally that flight and my return from KUL was not up to the usual high CX standard.
Thanks
Nicc
