Excellent post, but oh how I have had some cars that would get multiple fails! Windows grimy, garbage under the seat, gas tank not full, you name it.... At least Avis usually comes through with 2x$25 coupons if you complain online. On the other hand, some stations just seem to be consistently lacking in quality, so I rent from someone else.
