Never stayed here, even though my office is next door. It's hard to describe this property and its environs, but I think grimy is a good way to put it. I'm sure that before it was reflagged the rooms were refreshed, and it's probably quite decent on the inside, but for me, the walk from the Marquis, or the longer walk from the Renaissance, or the MARTA ride from the Midtown Suites were all worth it.
I was looking on TripAdvisor and they posted pictures, that look decent, NYC size rooms (smallish).. but there seems to be a decent work out center and nice lounge on the top floor.

It looks like the cleaned it up...I was happy to hear "Very Friendly Tanya in Concierge Lounge on Morning" Nice hope that they recognize Platinum. Staying there in 2 weeks for a conference, so will report back.
