With SAS you need an invitation to get into the NW lounge. It's been a while since I flew LH from IAD and forget if it was the same deal there. That's the norm though for contract lounges, and it's a pain because you have to get the voucher at the gate if you are connecting. If you get there early then there may not be any LH staff to give you the invitation. If you face this situation I would go to the Virgin lounge and have them call LH check-in.
Crap, I am flying LH F in July. Had no idea that they were building a Senator lounge. But what about non *G business class pax? They normally don't get access to the *G lounge. Are they building both a Business and Sen lounge then?
I haven't been to EWR for a while but there the set-up was a Senator lounge and a SK business lounge. I always used the SK lounge because I would have been flying with them.
