Finally got around to calling Delta to select seats for an upcoming award trip. Even though I have to go through ATL (JFK not avail up front), I was able to land 2 BE seats BOS-LGW. I don't mind going the "long way," however shouldn't I be upfront the entire leg? Much to my dismay, DL was only able to confirm Y for the BOS-ATL leg. Has anyone run into a similar situation? Will DL adjust my mileage balance if I raise a stink?
#1 - Always get your seat assignments ASAP
#2 - If you received SkySaver BE seats, consider yourself lucky as you can read how difficult it is now to get them.
#3 - Ask if there are seats via JFK on DL 1.
