I just flew F ICN-LAX and there are air nozzles, very strong ones, above the seats that I opened (just one was enough) and I even needed my blanket--I'd heard OZ's flights can be warm... extreme heat on public transport can be a common complaint from Westerners in Japan and Korea, from my 6+ years living there, though of course YMMV.
