under the "how likely" question, say "never."

The more never's they get, the more they will get the message.

If you have the time sometime, jump in a car, if its filthy, call for a manager. Make the manager sit in the drivers seat and say "tell me, is this an avis car? yes or no?"

if they say "yes, ask if he has a district manager around you can speak to."

In October 2006, they changed the cleanliness standards as a result of the post rental surveys. Now, if the car interior fails (any single car gets less than 95.5), the entire location fails, no matter how magnificent everything else is. As a matter of fact, I should do a post on car cleanliness. What to expect, so that you know exactly what to complain about when you see it.

But to give you an example, windows. If any one of the windows in a car is dirty "from the prospective of the renter, meaning sitting in the drivers seat", thats 4 points off of a max of 100 for that car. Anything else wrong on the car, including the car clock time bieng more thaqn +-15 min, the car, and the entire location, fails.
