Yeah, one thing that doesn't cost extra money, just a little extra effort. What I guess they would do is to take orders before take-off and then appropriately prepare meals as ordered.
One thing that NW doesn't do well is to create something of value out of nothing that is truly tangilbe (service vs material good)
