My wife and I lock everything of value away before leaving home. She wears a plain wedding band and takes some Chico's necklaces and bracelets. We both wear inexpensive watches. I leave all other jewlery home as does she.

We recently were on a high end tour. The women for the most part were well deck out with expensive looking jewelry. On our planned African trip, we will take nothing of value other than a well insured camera.
