The real answer is of course that no one knows. The Star Gold for life is a real nice benefit if it lasts, not that it necessarily will. Im at about 850K miles and doing 100K-110K per year. But last years schedule changes to NY put it in great doubt that I will get the million. At first I thought it would at worst case stretch out the time a bit. But now Im thinking I might not even make it. Im finding it harder and harder to justify flying UA. If I drop to general member or even a Premier I cant see flying them at all.
