Dallas Marriott Solana, last fall. I called them the morning of my trip, asked about the hotel shuttle and told them the exact time I was arriving. They asked me for my arrival gate at DFW (?) and I had no idea, so they told me to call back when I landed. I assumed it would be a quick response, so I called upon arrival, only to be told that it would be an hour wait. Isn't that why I tried to call several hours earlier?
On the plus side, after I gave them my name and they (presumably) looked up status, they told me to hop in a cab and they'd cover it. I walked in with my cab receipt and they were as good as their word, reimbursed me cash on the spot.
