Many years ago I remember having Penfold Bin 707 served on a Qantas flight ... this was before it became so sought-after (probably was 1/4 of current price). Some wines do not travel well, but Bin 707 was aptly named even though it was served on a 747 -- heavenly at 39,000 feet. I haven't flown QF for a few years, but have booked a flight on them in April. Are there any wines that are of particular interest? I'll be flying QF11 (SYD-LAX) in F if that makes any difference in the selection. Also does QF stock any decent ports (e.g. Penfold Grandfather port)?
