The highlight was most definitely the uber funky Mix Lounge at the 65th floor of The Hotel at Mandalay Bay. I arrived shortly after it opened (at 5:00pm) and enjoyed the sunset sipping GnT's until around 9:00pm when the terrace area is restricted for bottle service reservations. In case you are wandering, the minimum purchase is $350 after 9:00pm. Early birds such as myself managed to enjoy reasonably priced cocktails whilst taking in the storming twilight views of the Strip.
