As it happens I already knew that. I once had professor who was Hungarian and had a Finnish wife. He often discussed the origins of those two languages and cultures. But even if I had looked up origins of the Finnish language, so what? It seems I struck a nerve.

Neither would Denmark, and if it isn't considered primarily Scandinavian what is the alternative?

Yes , you're on to my plan . I'm hoping to use this forum as a platform to unite all areas ever under Scandinavian or Viking control into a giant "pan-scandinavian" union which will ultimately enable the Scandinavians to realize their eternal goal of conquering Germany , and eventually the entire world .
