Dismissed by 1K agent and transferred to ual.com
I saw this morning that a fare I have went down by $78. I trust the online tool (unlike others' experiences, I have never failed to receive vouchers). ut when I tried to finalize, ual.com prompted me to call in.
So I did. But 1K Could only come up with a fare of $10 less. I called right back. The next call went like this:
Me: Hi, if you can pull up my record, PNR XXXXXX
Agent: This was made on UAL.com. I can't touch it.
Me: Well, if you can just verify the price.
Agent: Sir, here is the ual.com number. No one at reserverations can ever help with .com records.
Me: But I'm asking you, not .com for help.
Agent: I'm tranferring you now. Click,
My jaw dropped!
Now I am on hold with India!
