I believe your ECH or OW equivalent tier is printed on your boarding pass. If it is, then there is no need to have your card at the ready.

Yes...I fly BA very often.

If you look at the sign by the FIRST/Club boarding lane it says something akin to, "We welcome FIRST and Club World". It does not offer the welcome to ECH Gold/Silv and OW equivalents. The F/J lane is a benefit of the class of service, not tier.

If you listen to the announcements made at boarding, at least in the Americas it will say that High ECH can board at their leisure meaning when they want, not where they want. Ask a BA agent who should be using the F/J line and this is what they'll tell you. Whether or not they enforce it is a different story.

Again...refer to the oneworld website. Regarding check in, it specifically mentions using the F and J check in desks. You'll note no such mention of F/J lane for boarding. The same goes for the BA website. It specifically mentions using the F or J check in desks but no such mention is made for boarding.

It is confusing, but what I've posted is correct.
