Actually, on friday i upgraded my december BNE-MEL-BNE flights to J (or U) with points. And those points were not mine, but my brother's and sister's inactive QFF accounts with points about to expire.

while the wait was pretty long (about 15 mins) since i booked it on the net and only those guys in the internet area can upgrade such flights, the service when i got it was really good and helpful.

luck of the draw i suppose.
