Finally got around to calling Delta to select seats for an upcoming award trip. Even though I have to go through ATL (JFK not avail up front), I was able to land 2 BE seats BOS-LGW. I don't mind going the "long way," however shouldn't I be upfront the entire leg? Much to my dismay, DL was only able to confirm Y for the BOS-ATL leg. Has anyone run into a similar situation? Will DL adjust my mileage balance if I raise a stink?
