I don't understand why either you didn't hear the alarm, was it because you where taking a shower and couldnt hear? If so, then I dont understand why the maintenance person would not hear the shower on and leave. You said you took a 30 minute "bath" which would I would assume would not be so loud that you couldnt hear the alarm. I just cant believe a maintenance person would enter a room when they heard someone in the bathroom.
