I have been 100% successful carrying a folding tripod camping stool like this one so I can sit in the front of Southwest A line to snag my exit row seat. 17" tall, Cordura seat, 2 pounds. Observers often remark what a great idea it is to have a stool. At 55, it's hard to squat like the kids.
