I wonder if this might be a way to grind the entire PPS Value system to a halt: ask/dispute/complain about the PPS Value every time a flight posts. In some cases there seems little rhyme or reason to the PPS Value, while in others it's closely related to the fare paid. For instance my AMS-SIN-AMS flights are pretty close to the fare (divided in half for each leg). I'll probably have a RTW in a few months with a few SQ sectors, so that's going to be interesting.
