I too stayed at the HP Dallas/Plano 2 weeks ago and noticed the same thing. I got the room that was the second or third from the end of the hall on the 6th floor (at least the "high floor" on my profile was listened to). I too noticed when looking at the floorplan on the back of the door that I had been shafted by getting one of these smaller rooms. I was right next to the "mid-length" room so I looked out the window and measured that the next room over was approzimately 2 ft. longer than mine. And the were even longer rooms in the middle of the hotel (from the floorplan it looked like they were 2 ft longer than the mid-length rooms or 4 ft. longer than my dinky room). All rooms seemed to be the same width. Maybe it's time to start asking for a "2-double" bedded room in order to get a bigger room.

Or maybe they follow my profile down to a T, because it does state "high floor, away from elevator". Who knows. One other question. Do they even know at HP/HSS is the customer is a Diamond or not? Or do they just see some random 10-digit GP number and that's it? I almost wanna say they don't even know if the customer has elite status or not. The 500 pt bonus probably just gets added automatically when the folio gets to GP, that's why it seems to post all the time unlike the 1000 pt 1W Diamond bonus at regular Hyatts which never seems to post properly (and which the hotel inputs).
