Need some advice from my fellow FTers. Mr GoodTimes and I have booked a week in Montreal & Tremblant in early October. We fancy flying to Newark one week earlier, picking up a rental car and driving to Montreal.

Being Diamond, we want to stay at Hilton brand hotels. So, where do you recommend for places to stay on the way?

We know absolutely nothing about upper NY state. We want fun things to do along the way (touristy, sightseeing, shopping - we'd like to visit Woodbury Common outlets).
