Well, I was at MAN T3 last week and they took my photo there.

LGW S terminal, in my opinion, is even worse than LGW north - if you arrive on a cheapo EZY or Flybe domestic flight you have to queue to get your picture taken as you get off the plane - slows down getting through even more, and then you are discharged into a total scrum of queueing passengers in the departures area. Horrible.

The business of being bussed to the reclaim area from the INTL stands is a pain - particularly as they tend to disembark the planes from the back which means that having grabbed a seat at the front you're usually the last off.

However, the worst of it is having to connect through security queues as many other posters have complained. The other route from domestic gates doesn't involve nearly so much hassle - I go through there three or four times a year and it's never been too bad. Certainly a considerable improvement on the evil and shambolic flight 'connections' centre at LHR. In fact, all things considered, it's still better, I think to connect through Gatwick than endure LHR.
