My husband is platinum. I e-mailed instead of calling because english is not my native language and I communicate much better in writing.

I have declined the 3000 points. I find it an offensive offer. If we had been the "no show" they would have charged our chedit card one night stay. It takes 8000 points to stay at this hotel. One would think that if they have the right to charge me if I don't check in, I would have the right to charge them if they don't have a room for me.
