Preferred seat 1C on CRJ's is my salvage in tolerating flights on these aircrafts. It is the only availble seat (1B is blocked for disabled paxes) where I can stretch my long legs (into the gally) without problems.
Preferred seats on exit row 8 on the CRJ remain a mystery to me. They have no extra leg space and selecting them puts you at risk for being yelled at by the occasional FA Nazi!
