So I got an invite to Avis first a few weeks ago and just got the package in the mail with an Avis first card last week. I was thinking or maybe wishing that they finally got what a frequent traveler program was about.

Boy was I wrong, rented my first car under the "Avis First" banner which was an intermediate car I was hoping to at least get a G6 or maybe even an Impala or similar. Well NOT I got a Malibu hatchback (I didn't even know they made a hatchback) with 24k miles that smelled like a cigarette factory, I asked for another car that didn't smell like smoke and I was told they didn't have anything else even though I saw at least 30 other Malibu's and the like in the lot. After I left I found an empty coffee cup rolling around in the back seat and a used napkin in the center console.
I manage to talk my company out of them 50% of the time, I can't wait until I get to go to ANY other car company all of the time.
