Let me state up front that this is based on some assumptions.....
Before the res switch, East was all Sabre with the res functions (res, ticketing, check-in, etc) using a subset of Sabre called Res (appropriately enough) and the operations functions (dispatch, aircraft routing, maintenance, wt/balance, etc) using a subset of Sabre called Decs (and don't ask me what that's short for.
Meanwhile, the West side used Shares for almost everything except wt/balance, which was done by a separate program called Mapper.
Then comes the res switch on the East side. The agents now have QIK/Shares but the East is still using the Decs portion of Sabre for the ops functions. So it could be that Shares (which the agents have) isn't getting the info from Decs, which is where Flifo (Flight information) is. Flifo is basically what has such things as inbound ETA, aircraft routing (what flight your outbound equipment is arriving as), etc.
