It's a wide mix, attractions like Polynesian Cultural Center to luaus to local B&B's to International Chains to simple apartments / studios for week or two week stays. Plus some group rates we've seen are attractive, but that's more an asian thing then a US mainlander thing. We're getting items from every range it seems like except airlines.
Exactly the things I was thinking about. A decline in one segment would effect many things. Hate to see the budget traveler squeezed out of the market. One of the many nice things about Hawaii has been that it offered accommodations and activities for many levels of spending.
I am also curious about the first quarter, as I thought traditionally it was an indicator of totals for the year. Thanks again for the insights.
