What is so irritating is upon entering the building passengers are faced with 2 channels - right for arrivals and baggage reclaim, left for what was flight connections but now roped off and signage covered by black duct tape. I do not understand why the FCC channel has been closed off during the past year or so but there must be more to it than the need for a replacement mini-cam.
On my regular GLA-LGW trips, the majority of them park on either the int'l stand or remote, and we get bussed to the airport. It adds to the frustration when the FA announces that 'this will be more convenient as passengers are dropped off right at the baggage reclaim' - I always feel like shouting ' not if your connecting to another flight ..you need to go back through the bloody zoo of security !!' I have now started taking alternative routes as this p'd me off so much.
