Example of Awful Cust Service
Speaking of awful service. Last month i was on a return flight from SLC to Long Beach, CA. Our luggage apparently did not make the flight. We were Delta's last flight into long beach. It was about 10:00 and tried to find someone at the Delta Desk. No one in sight. Went to the Jet Blue desk and was told they would page someone from Delta. They paged, and paged, and paged. And an hour later i called delta cust service. I was told that i needed to report lost baggage, to the airport and they could not set up a ticket, without contacting the airport. They tried for 45 minutes. No luck.
We waited until midnight with a 3 and a 5 year old. What an experience.
I was finally told to call or go back to the airport the next day. When i sent a complaint email, what did they offer for compensation, nothing. They did not even offer to pay for the extra day of parking because our waiting took us into another day. The sent an email back about 2 weeks later stating that they apologize for the inconvenience.
