Do not think that you are "rapping" Australia. I think just about everyone here would agree the 24 hour rule is ridiculous and that is only for domestic upgrades. International are only when there is a "special offer".

Competition is driving down prices, but not improving FF systems.

The opportunity is there for AN to take the bull (QF) by the horns and offer something different (e.g. confirmable upgrades, no tier point system, extra REAL benefits for top tier members). All they offer is free membership (whohoo! ). At the moment AN just copies QF, which is the worst place to be and the worst for competition.

AN needs to be innovative, being the cheapest is not always the best place to be.
